Our hero of the week

When your people give up on you. When you are no longer a favorite in the family and the street becomes your home, the only choice you have is to survive.
The city streets were his best friend, his food source was garbage and leftovers, and avoiding cars was a difficult lesson that would almost cost him his life.
Days passed, sickness and wandering in the streets took their toll on him and there was no trace of the once beautiful pet.
He now belonged to the streets that swallowed the last traces of care out of him and turned him into a wild beast that howled with pain and howled at a human’s touch.
The happiness in his eyes that symbolized the beauty of life was gone and the smooth and well-groomed fur had fallen off, in its place there were scab wounds and scars from cuts and bites …
Hachiko💔
He suffered so much before he was taken into our care and the depth of his suffering will remain on the conscience of his past family while we, together with your help, will take care of his future.
Let’s all work together for Hachiko to get a new home and never suffer again 🏡

Veterinarian

Veterinary Care

All rescued animals visit a Veterinary Clinics for evaluation and treatment before being placed in our shelter, pet hotel, home boarding or foster home. General veterinary care may include vaccines, rabies and health certificates, deworming/parasite treatment, 4D snap test (heartworm, leishmania, anaplasma and erlichia), brucelosis and FIV/FeLV tests, and spaying or neutering, but many rescued animals also need surgeries and long term inpatient care. This treatment is essential because injured and sick animals are less likely to find “forever” homes and are at risk for euthanasia in shelters or to suffer and die on the streets.
Grooming

Grooming

All our rescues get the basic grooming treatment. Dog grooming often gets a reputation as a “luxury” service or something we only need to do after our pup takes a dip in a mud puddle. But almost all our dogs are taken directly from the streets with damaged fur, neglected, full with fleas and tick, and often with different skin conditions which are demanding medical baths. To keep our dogs happy and healthy, it’s important to engage in consistent grooming sessions to maintain their level of cleanliness.

Adoption

Our goal is to make the adoption process as smooth as possible for both dogs and adopters. Our simple process ensures rescues are matched to their ideal homes, creating harmony and happiness for all.
